The project MVad transformed a fully compartmentalized L-shaped apartment into one where the spaces are integrated and connected between each other. This new distribution allows the light to pass through and provides transforming spaces that accommodate changing uses.

The corridor is not conceived as a mere passing area but as the center of the program. Besides acting as a connector between different areas, it becomes part of the adjoining rooms while maintaining the possibility of being independent.

The program included two bedrooms, living room, a kitchen, and a multi-functional room that could be used as a study, painting, and consultation space. In order to achieve this last point, a courtyard-like area is created. This permeable and multipurpose space connects and integrates both with the living room and the hallway but can be segregated by using a system of custom wooden doors.
